Automechanika Middle East has been awarded the title of “Fastest Growing Show in the Middle East/Africa” by Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50.
The trade show has a large representation of government bodies supporting it, encouraging bi-lateral trade between specific countries. This includes:

Automechanika Shanghai, Asia’s largest trade show for automotive parts, equipment and service suppliers set a new visitor and exhibitor record when it was held December 8 -11, 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China.
The sixth edition was the largest ever in terms of the scale and number of exhibitors. A total of 3,115 exhibitors from 27 countries displayed their products, including nine overseas pavilions from France, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. The exhibition space of 138,000 sqm (1,485,419 sq ft) in total is a 33% increase in size from the previous show.
Representing 130 countries and regions, visitors increased by 31% to 50,561 when compared to Automechanika Shanghai 2009. The top 10 visiting countries (excluding China) were South Korea, Taiwan, Iran, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, the United States, India and Thailand.

Automechanika South Africa, March 9 - 12, 2011
The second edition of Automechanika South Africa drew high praise from exhibitors and visitors alike. The show attracted record numbers of exhibitors and visitors. The number of exhibitors jumped from 412 in 2009 – 170 local and 242 foreign – to 551 this year – 169 local and 382 foreign from 25 countries. There were official pavilions from China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey. The number of trade visitors also increased, moving up from 8,200 in 2009 to 9,026 this year, which was a 10% improvement.
Automechanika Iberica, March 30 - April 2, 2011
A total of 39,965 trade visitors came to the event: 12% from outside Spain. Of these, 31% were from Portugal, as well as a relevant number of visitors from Germany, France and Italy. Among the Spanish visitors, 70% came from outside Madrid, confirming the interest in the fair by the whole national market, with a noteworthy presence of trade visitors from Andalusia, Catalonia, Valencia and Castile and Leon. 45% of visitors were workshop professionals, followed by distribution, which in this case represented nearly 22% of the total.
Automechanika Malaysia, March 31 - April 2, 2011
The biennial show saw a 25% increase in exhibitors with 166 exhibitors from Australia, Bangladesh, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Nearly 4,500 visitors from 56 countries and regions attended the show to source the latest products and services in 5,000 sqm (53,819 sq ft.) of exhibition space. The top five visitor countries and regions outside Malaysia were China, Singapore, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
